Biblical - Cultural - Practical
What: A 10 week online course that teaches practical skills and useful knowledge for teaching children God's Word in today's culture.  Learn how to help kids see how the Bible relates to their life today so they will believe the Bible and walk in God's way throughout their life. Participants also get an opportunity to practice the skills learned during the course to grow as a teacher.

Who: Anyone that wants training on how to teach kids God's truth. Perfect for Sunday school teachers, Awana workers, parents, or teens.

How: Online.
  • This course will be recorded and made into a self-paced online course for future attendees. By signing up for this course, you agree to be recorded and published for the online course during the live discussions in this session. You will receive access to the video recordings each week and to the self-paced online course when it is finished.

Certificate Level

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, you will receive a certificate from NETworkers TEC that signifies that you have earned the
​ “Minute Fisherman – EQUIP Certificate”.  ​​
(The course may be taken for "audit" where online attendance and homework are not required but the certificate would not be given. ​)
Certificate Requirements
  • Attendance at all sessions (or watching the recording and writing a paragraph about what you learned)
  • Completing the homework assignments
  • Successfully passing the presentation practicums
  • Applying at least one skill learned in the course in real life with a child/classroom time.

About the Instructor

Picture
 Hanna Sims has been doing hands-on children’s ministry for over fifteen years in churches, schools, ministry outreaches, and neighborhood clubs. She has a B.S. in Ministry Studies--Children from Calvary University. She seeks to glorify God by providing members of the body of Christ with a network of Teaching, Equipping, and Connecting resources to assist them in their Biblical ministry to the next generation through her ministry called NETworkers TEC. Hanna engages kids, teens, and adults through in person workshops. She is also the co-author of a children’s apologetics curriculum called “Yes, God is Real”. Her joy is to help others know Biblical truth and equip them with skills to share truth with others. 

The EQUIP curriculum began through a friend in Florida. This friend, Jeneba, is a Pastor's wife and noticed a need to provide practical training material for individuals and churches wanting training for how to teach kids. Through Jeneba's vision for this project, as well as her work on it, and the involvement of other brothers and sisters in Christ the EQUIP curriculum was created to help YOU teach the kids God has placed in your life in a Biblical and practical way.
