Webinar Series - Interview #5
|
Kristin is a 2014 home school alumnae who spent her high school years focusing on classical music training on piano and violin. In 2012, at the age of 16, Kristin started teaching her first student. By using the communication, self-initiative, networking/relationship building and obvious musical skills she developed throughout her home school education, she was able to eventually create a thriving small business teaching private piano and violin lessons to 45 students a week and over a 100 students a year — all while working part-time. She earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Christian Counseling and Communication in just 11 months through Liberty University's online program. She also authored a few Bible studies complied from her blog, So I Fix My Eyes.
Now, Kristin lives in Virginia Beach, VA with her husband Nick and two-year-old daughter Lydia. While not currently teaching, she plans to return to this career path in the future. |
