Number of participants can vary depending on the group.
Blanks are provided in the script for you to assign each part.
If you have having the actors read their lines, instead of memorizing them, you can cut the script apart into sections so that the child only has the lines for his color to hold, instead of the whole script. You can glue each child's section on a coordinating colored piece of paper so that the audience is reminded of the featured color as the lines are being read.
When actors are not reading their lines they should put their scripts on a nearby table or behind them on the floor so that they can do the actions for the songs and also not be distracted by holding their paper during the play.
During the GREEN color there is an extra script section called "Promises." If you would like to include that section, CLICK HERE to download that script section.
Print the file to the right for SIGNS with the key points for each color.
Laminate the pages to protect them during the production and storage.
Tape the signs on coordinating colored milk crates or painted boxes to stack as indicated in the play; or tape each sign to the wall as the musical progresses.
Create a Power Point of the key points to show during the musical.
Words to "We're the Gospel Warriors" has been modified from the song in the video to better match with the theme of the play. Use the link above for you, the teacher, to learn the tune and then teach the kids to sing the song acapella.
