During the Revolutionary War, a special group of soldiers were ready at a minute's notice to go out and fight whenever they were called. These men were called "Minute Men." These soldiers were generally 25 years old and younger and were chosen for their enthusiasm, reliability, and physical strength. They were average people that lived their everyday lives as farmers, blacksmiths, preachers, business owners, family members,, etc., but were equipped before the battle with the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to defend their rights and loved ones when the need arose. Their preparation before being called was vital for the success of those they served.

By participating in the various training opportunities hosted by NETworkers TEC, you will be preparing yourself to be a Minute Fishermen in that you will gain skills, tools, and knowledge that will equip you so that you are prepared to serve the Lord a "minute's notice". Though open to all ages, we specifically want to equip enthusiastic and reliable 25 year olds and younger, who are desiring to develop their spiritual strength, with this training program.
"... always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." (1 Peter 3:15 ESV) |
